In accordance with its legal obligations, Sfil has published its Workplace Gender Equality Index results for the second year.
The Index is scored out of 100 and calculated based on 5 indicators:
- The gender gap in pay,
- The gender gap in individual pay rises,
- The gender gap in promotions,
- The number of employees that receive a pay rise on return from maternity leave,
- Gender parity among the top 10 most highly paid employees.
In 2019, SFIL scored 92 out of the maximum 100 points.
This is a 5-point increase from 2018 resulting from initiatives that the company has implemented and reflecting its continuing commitment to gender equality in the workplace as one of its chief strategic priorities.
