Since 2019, Sfil group has been a regular issuer of green bonds.
Last week, Sfil group published its fourth allocation and impact reporting, for the Caffil EUR 750m 2022/2027 bond.
This transaction was the first transaction launched under Sfil group’s new Green, Social and Sustainability Bond Framework, published in October 2022.
A total of 214 green loans amounting to EUR 750 million were allocated to this bond. One of the objectives of this issue is to give smaller local authorities access to green loans: 157 loans granted had a volume of less than EUR 5 million, and 57 had a volume of less than EUR 1 million.In addition, this issue should contribute to an annual reduction in CO2 emissions of over 8,000 tonnes.
