Context

The ‘InspiRe’ project addresses the issues of soft mobility and clean transport in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. By rethinking the transport offer, it aims to adapt and simplify travel within the metropolis in order to better meet the mobility needs of its inhabitants.

Solution

To support this urban transformation, Sfil and La Banque Postale have granted a green loan of €26 million over 30 years. By investing in sustainable mobility, this project contributes to the region’s ecological transition and improves the quality of life for residents.

Results

With the introduction of two BRT lines and cycle paths, the Clermont metropolitan area will offer a more fluid and environmentally friendly transport alternative. The greening of urban spaces will also enhance the attractiveness of the area and help reduce heat islands in the city.
