The CHU de Reims is launching phase 1 of a major property project, including the construction of a hospital building of 58,122 m². This new site will accommodate 476 beds and places, the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive/urology and musculoskeletal departments, as well as consultation and functional exploration activities.

With 200,000 patients treated each year, the Reims University Hospital is a key player in the region. It plays an essential role in access to healthcare, medical research and the training of more than 2,100 students. Its activities have an estimated economic impact of €900 million in the department of Marne. This project aims to modernise the hospital infrastructure to provide optimal care conditions and enhance the appeal of the university hospital centre.
To support this strategic initiative, Sfil and La Banque Postale have granted a health loan of €100 million. This funding is supporting the construction of a new hospital building housing cutting-edge technologies and having an impact throughout the Marne department.
Thanks to this modernisation, the University Hospital of Reims is improving access to specialised care and strengthening its role as a centre of medical excellence. This project contributes to more efficient and innovative patient care as well as to the evolution of hospital practices.
