Context

This project addresses the challenges of sustainable water management and sanitation in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It aims to secure the drinking water supply for more than 9,000 subscribers, while improving the quality of the water distributed. Thanks to this infrastructure, the region benefits from a long-term solution to guarantee access to this essential resource.

Solution

To support this structuring project, Sfil and La Banque des Territoires have granted a loan of €3 million over 40 years. This long-term financing guarantees the economic viability of the project while supporting the modernisation of hydraulic infrastructures. By offering suitable financial conditions, it responds to the budgetary constraints of local authorities and allows them to invest with confidence in sustainable equipment, essential for the management and preservation of water resources.

Results

With a capacity of 5,000 m³/day, this plant will guarantee a secure supply and better water quality for the 9,000 subscribers in the area. The interconnection network that has been set up will optimise distribution and strengthen the system’s resilience in the face of environmental challenges.
