This structuring project aims to modernise the provision of healthcare and strengthen the position of the Nantes University Hospital within the Loire-Atlantique Regional Hospital Group (GHT). Supported by the State to the tune of €400 million, including €175 million via the Ségur de la Santé, this new hospital will meet the challenges of quality of care and medical innovation. It is also part of a dynamism of territorial development, integrating a university and research centre for the 7,000 students trained by the university hospital.
To support this major transformation, Sfil and La Banque Postale have granted a health loan of €40 million over 30 years. This funding supports the creation of a major hospital infrastructure, guaranteeing optimised care adapted to changing health needs in the Nantes metropolitan area.
With an optimised intake capacity, this hospital will become a centre of reference in care, teaching and research, contributing to the quality of healthcare provision for the 656,000 inhabitants of the Nantes metropolitan area.
