As a rural municipality with a central role, Castellane plays a key part in its catchment area. This urban block redevelopment project helps to enhance the attractiveness of the area by modernising housing, while meeting the housing needs of residents and promoting social diversity.
To support this initiative, Sfil and La Banque Postale have granted a social loan of €500,000 over 25 years. This funding will support the transformation of the former sub-prefecture into social housing, as part of an approach based on territorial cohesion and sustainable development.
The restructuring of this urban block will promote the revitalisation of the town centre and improve the supply of affordable housing for residents. By promoting access to quality housing for low-income households, this project is part of an approach to social and territorial cohesion, enhancing the existing heritage while meeting the growing need for affordable housing.
