Faced with an increase in the number of pupils and the need to modernise its school infrastructure, Nantes has launched an ambitious project to improve the care of young children and promote their educational success. By renovating and expanding these primary schools, the city is guaranteeing an optimal learning environment, adapted to the needs of pupils and teaching staff.
To support this initiative, Sfil and La Banque Postale have granted a social loan of €18 million over 15 years. This funding supports a vast programme of school renovation, combining modernisation of infrastructure and improvement of the students’ living environment.
With the renovation and extension of five school groups, Nantes is strengthening its educational provision by providing 1,600 pupils with optimal conditions.
