The municipality of Prunelli Di Fiumorbo is investing €19 million in the construction of a new school complex to improve conditions for children. This project involves the creation of 24 classrooms, accommodating between 600 and 650 pupils, and will bring the primary and nursery schools together on the same site.

Faced with demographic growth and the need for modern school infrastructure, the municipality of Prunelli Di Fiumorbo in Corsica is embarking on a construction project covering more than 3,300 m². This new school complex has been designed with a view to reducing energy consumption and developing green spaces, thus contributing to a more pleasant and sustainable learning environment.
To support this initiative, Sfil and La Banque des Territoires have granted a green loan of €3.5 million over 40 years. This long-term financing supports the construction of a highly energy-efficient school.
Thanks to this new infrastructure, 600 to 650 pupils will benefit from a modern and environmentally responsible school environment. With 3,300 m² of new space incorporating bio-based materials, low-carbon equipment and innovative solutions for optimising energy consumption and resource management, this project illustrates the municipality’s commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable development.
