A rigorous methodology to select eligible loans

For each green and social bond issue, we follow a rigorous three-stage process:

Assessment of eligible thematic loans
Project analysis
Validation by a dedicated committee

We select green and social loans by assessing them against our guidelines, including our exclusion policy and risk management criteria.

Loans proposed for local authorities, public hospitals and major export contracts are examined according to specific criteria to guarantee their environmental and social impact, with verifications adapted to each type of activity.

Our Green, Social and Sustainability Bond Committee meets at least twice a year to validate the selection of eligible loans, manage Framework updates and review annual reporting.
