Sfil, the right partner in order to enhance french exporters competitiveness on the international stage

Our access to the covered bond market via a large base of investors allows us to rise money at excellent conditions enabling us to propose competitive financings to international clients of the major french exporters.

For a given transaction, the partner banks are entitled to transfer a part of their participation to Sfil. This transfer is a true sale.

Once the transfer arranged, Sfil becomes lender in the same way as the other lenders.

Sfil’s onboarding into a given export credit does not disrupt the structuring and management cycle. It only has a minor impact on credit documentation in order to ensure the enforceability of the transfer to Sfil.

Before the concrete involvement of Sfil in a given export credit, commitments in terms of confidentiality are covered by a framework agreement which govern the relationship between each respective partner banks and Sfil.

Once becoming lender, Sfil is also bound by the same contractual commitments as others lenders in respect of this export credit contract.

We provide liquidity to complement banking capacities.

We offer long term maturities covering the construction phase (drawing phase) and the repayment period (within the limits authorised by the OECD arrangement).

We are entitled to act on large export credit starting from €70 million.
